Twilight Imperium 4th Edition with Expansion and accessories Wooden Insert/Organizer

$161.90
Wooden organizer for Twilight Imperium: Fourth Edition + Prophecy of Kings by Dane Beltrami, Corey Konieczka, Christian T. Petersen.
There are several good TI4 + PoK inserts out there and some of them do not have a lid lift. However, this particular insert also supports additional cards and a number of accessories. This also leads to a small lid lift as a lot of things needed to be crammed in there. Here are the details:
- supports Prophecy of Kings expansion
- supports Volume 1 Omega Initiative cards (Faction Tech, Basic Tech, Promissory Notes)
- supports Volume 2 Omega Initiative cards (Faction Reference, Alliance Reference, additional Ixthian Artifacts)
- supports at least 10 additional dice per each player colour (this can be seen in the pictures)
- supports a Gavel and Block to bring order to the to the galaxy
- keeps all the components organized
- box can be stored horizontal, vertical and even upside down
- removable trays
- the galaxy tiles set has 3 wooden dividers to help separate the tiles
- the wooden dividers can be used to lift Mecatol Rex above every other galaxy tile.
- this has been tested and designed with the original FFG sleeves in mind (that are of course no longer manufactured). So anything smaller will work great. Anything larger/thicker might create problems.
Compromises: Since The Nifty Organizer way of making inserts is to offer every piece their own compartment, it needs to be highlighted that certain compromises had to be made in order to keep this at a respectable height.
- the faction trays hold the faction cards together with all the respective faction tokens in one single area (they support the faction related cards which includes their home planet cards)
- some of the minis share space (such as the War Sun together with the Flagship and the Dreadnaught). NOTE: The dividers in the player trays are all removable in case people are OK with several pieces sharing space and thus creating more room overall.
- a minimum of 12mm lid lift (which can of course increase depending on the amount of extra player aids one has, whether they are laminated etc)
- there are no additional compartments to separate the expansion cards (or the Omega cards). They have to go in the same compartment together with the base game cards (of course the cards themselves are separated based on type)
- glue is strongly suggested when assembling the tile holder (but not required for the other pieces)
- hobby hammer/rubber mallet required
Please note: This is a very large insert, it's 3 times larger than the average inserts, so I'm asking for extra processing time.
Includes assembly manual.
The box size that this organizer was designed for is: 427mm x 284mm x 130mm (INNER BOX MEASUREMENTS) (16.8 in x 11.1 in x 5.1 in).
This listing is for the wooden organizer only and not for the actual game (or any of the game pieces).
